balcony cruising with baby

Do you receomend a balcony when cruising wit ha baby? I will be cruising a 5 day with my husband and one year old son. I thought a balcony might be nice for during his napy times but is it worth the extra money?

Yes yes and yes! I can't tell you how many Mom's and Dads were up ealy in the morning taking the bambino's out so the other could sleep. As other's have said, having a balcony is and extention of room, another place to go, without having to go to a different deck.

I don't see how parents make inside cabins work with little ones. But they do! My choice would be at least for a balcony.

I agree with PP. We sailed with our then 6 month old DD. It was nice to sit on the balcony during nap time or in the evening.
