Spring Whale Migration

Any other cruisers have experience with seeing the humpback whales either from the cruise ship or viewing them from the shores of Bermuda in April? Even if you have not personally seen them from shore, any tips on what beach or vantage point that might increase our chances of seeing them a week and half from now would be appreciated.

BUEI offers whale watching trips in April. The schedule can be found here: http://www.buei.org/exhibits-events/exhibits-events.asp

If you want to stay on land, visit Whale Bay - ...During March to April, you can see schools of humpback whales from here migrating through blue waters of the South Shore. Source...: http://www.bermuda-attractions.com/bermuda_000012.htm

SailBadtheSinner,

Thank you that link is prefect as it gives the information about how to get to the bay. We knew about the the BUIE and the FantaSea whale watching tour boats, but their schedules left very little fudge room to get back to the dock for sail away on a Sunday.

Any chance of seeing whales in May?

I'm sure there could be some stragglers but as bermuda-attactions.com has posted: ...During March to April, you can see schools of humpback whales from here (Whale Bay) migrating through blue waters of the South Shore....

BUEI is not offering any whale watching trips in May.
