Mystery Cruise

I have just received a leaflet this morning about Fred's first ever Mystery Cruise on Black Watch in November. It certainly does sound different with 2 Murder Mystery dinners and lectures, talks and presentations from crime writers.

Has anyone been on a mystery cruise with any other cruise line and how does it work with booking excursions when you don't know beforehand which ports you will be visiting?

I am wondering if anyone has done a mystery cruise and if they would recommend it. Looks really fun to me!
