Sunshine OV Rooms

We have decided to go on a shorter cruise on the Sunshine out of Port Canaveral in January to save some money since we will be on the Vista in Oct 2017. Although we almost always go with a balcony we are thinking of going Oceanview this time since it's only 5 nights. My question is...does anyone know if the OV cabins on the Promenade Deck (Deck 5) are smaller than those on decks 2 & 3? I understand that the OV cabins on deck 5 are new with the refurbishment and those on decks 2 & 3 are existing cabins that were redone. There will be 4 of us in the cabin (2 adults & 2 older kids) so we are thinking a 220 sq foot OV cabin will help offset the balcony but if the deck 5 OV are only 185 feet we will probably just go ahead with a balcony or go down to the lower decks. Thanks for any advice

Deck 3 and 5 are the new cabins,

deck 1 & 2 are the existing cabins.

Check out the 4J cabins

You book them as inside price but they come with a full window.

Best deal going. most of these are on deck 3 or facing forward on multi decks

Also see if 2340 or 2341 are available. These are reg 6 B outside but as big as a suite. they have 2 window These 2 rooms are great

Looks like 2340 & 2341 are already booked and the 4J cabins are essentially the same price as the OV cabins on deck 5. I think I will just book one of the deck 5 cabins and hope for the best. Either way we will be on a cruise...
