I'm not sure if she will use her married name in her Cruise Director position.

Some of the captions on TV show one name, some the other. I think both should be listed here so people can find her no matter which name they recognize.

All of these 'short shifts' so to speak make it so much more difficult to keep track of everyone.

 

 

 

I wonder if Katrina Blair (John's wife) who usually works together with John on a ship (at least that is what I have been told by other cruisers) will be staying on Jewel as AM until July 17?

Katrina is currently on the Jewel with John and we didn't hear she had any plans to leave until his tour ends in July. They make a great team

I think Jerome is the regular CD on Allure now, so he will take a break (which may be longer than the customary 2 months since his current contract is longer than usual), and will likely return after the holidays.

I don't think a regular CD has been assigned to alternate with Jerome, so any of the CDs who take covering assignments would take over during his break.

I'll post new info as soon as it becomes available.

It's one of the things we consider. Entertainment on a cruise is important to us. There are some CDs who schedule lots of activities/events, and others who run very boring programs.

No, a CD has a 3 year maximum per ship, and he has already completed 3 years on Freedom. In fact, he is probably close to 3 years on Rhapsody by now, so a new ship assignment might be coming soon.

Interesting to know. So if a CD really loves a ship and wants to return to it after a 3 year hiatus from it, they can't go return to it, if they have already completed 3 years on it previously. I wonder why?
