Default Where to park at Ft. Lauderdale?

We will be arriving by car and need to know where to park and what the cost will be? Do hotels close to port offer free parking when booking a pre-night with them? Thanks for any help with this.

Parking inside the port is $15. We use Park N Go and they are very nice and efficient

http://bookparkngo.com/

There are lots of hotels that have park and stay packages. If you go over to the Florida departure board on CC there is lots of info on them.

We park at the port as we have a long drive and don't want to wait on shuttles.

Another vote for ParknGo! We've used them several times. There was always a shuttle available when we arrived to leave the car and we never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a shuttle when we debarked and we always use self debark and get off early.

I'm thinking of using ParknGo for my cruise in April. How soon should I make the reservation?

I would make it now.

I find using them even easier than driving in in our own car, having to wait and show our ID etc.

There has always been a shuttle waiting when we disembarked.

For a dollar more ($8/day tax included) we use the garage(covered) parking behind the Renaissance on 17th. Van is free and prompt. premiercruisepark@bellsouth.net .

Thanks everyone. Just checked and can book parking at ParkNGo for $7.99 a day. Pretty cheap.

Just returned from a cruise and used Park N Go. They are excellent.

This was our first time driving to FLL but everyone at Park N Go was friendly and helpful.

They took our car and unloaded our bags. On our return we waited a minute or two for a shuttle and he took us directly to our car. Because of ongoing road construction in the area, the car was dirty, but that was not their fault.

Also, one of the tires was almost flat and they filled it so I could get to a service station and have it checked.

If you are driving, this is the place to use. No hassles and the price was right $7.99 per day. But, you will need a reservation.

OK, parkngo is a favorite, but why not get a ramp(covered, secure garage) for the same price, $8/day tax included? Right behind Renaissance hotel, with free shuttle, fast and close. You can walk to Princess and MSC if you want. premiercruisepark@bellsouth.net .

Another vote for Park & Go and I agree with the poster who said it is actually EASIER (in my opinion) than to wait to get through port security in your own personal car. I've used them 3x and will be this Saturday again.

OH, and on the poster who keeps pushing Premier -- see the posting today that tells of the mishaps.
