subtitles and the loop

We are going on the Oriana in October. I use 2 hearing aids and need subtitles to be able to understand the in cabin TV. Also I use a loop system for the cinema. Has anyone any experience of either are available on Oriana and actually work. I have read various derogatory comments about these facilities and it would be good to find out for sure

No subtitles on the cabin TV, no subtitles in the cinema. Most (if not all) P&O ships have a loop in the show lounge, but I not (I believe) in the cinema. My mother uses a loop but doesn't watch films, so I can't be sure.

Thanks for the information. It seems that I have been misinformed by P&O. i was told there was subtitles on TV and the loop system in cinema and theatre but was not sure whether that was true when reading other reviews. I am disappointed though

Nope. And you won't hear a word the captain says either. The ships don't cater for hard of hearing well unfortunately
