Canadian money?

Hi,

We will be in Vancouver for a few days before our cruise. I know we can just put meals on our credit card, but will we need Canadian cash for the taxi from the airport to the hotel?

Your money is very welcome in Vancouver. You don't have to bring Canadian money with you.

You don't HAVE to have Canadian dollars - everyone will take your US dollars but be aware that you will get change in Canadian and not the correct exchange rate. You can easily get CDN$$ at an ATM at the airport.

I would also suggest getting some Canuck bucks from an ATM.

US cash is readily accepted but most businesses screw you on the exchange vs a bank. Enjoy Vancouver and surrounding area. :)
