Default Dinner first evening

Leaving on the Valor tomorrow. Ship sails late, around 10:00 pm. Is the first night's dinner open seating or still early or late as assigned?

Open seating for sure. This time (the other was the Victory) we are doing the Steakhouse for the first Diner and get the free bottle of wine to boot.

They might announce the whole ship is Anytime Dining. That's what they did for us last year in Venice.

We were on Valor for the Southern Caribbean sailing out of San Juan this past May. Dinner on the first night was open seating from 5:30PM - 8:30PM in both dining rooms (Washington and Lincoln).

For us it has been open seating for the most part at you assigned time. YTD was at its separate location. Chaos at times with a lot of confusion. Things settle in on day 2.
Just our experience, may different on certain ships. Seems like many used the buffet.
