NEver mind more garbage from carnival. Out of Florida I do not even see a single $200 per room offer. Most 3 and 4 day cruises are $200-$250 each person and are limited at that. Apparently Carnival has no interest in their casino players anymore.

I think you have mis-read the offer. Run a mock booking on their website for one of them and you will find that the $200-$250 is per cabin with the $100 OBC. I just booked Carnival Victory out of Miami for 4 days on May 15. I travel solo and my cost was $200 plus $101 for taxes and port fees. My documents show a $100 OBC. This is a great deal for a solo traveler.

It is $100 per person for that day but those are few and far between. Any date that does not take place during school is much more. Two years ago you paid $100 per room with $100 back on pretty much all cruises. This included cruises up to around 8 days(or even more sometimes), cruises to Alaska, and Mediterranean cruises. Last year it was changed to $200 per room with $100 back. There were many more limitations on cruises but at least there were some to choose from. This year you get cruises up to 5 days and over half the ships are not included. For my closest port which is Port Canaveral there is only one ship running 3 and 4 days cruises only. Any cruise that is not on a school day is costing $200 per person for a 3 day cruise with another $50 added per day. Basically if I took a 4 day cruise it went from $100 a room to $200 a room to $500 per room with $100 back.

Granted, I did notice that this year cruise prices skyrocketed with their pack and play cruise prices more than the regular prices last year which is why until things change I am done cruising just 4 days before I hit platinum. I feel, and it is my own opinion, that my terrible luck in the casino gives them far far far more in profit than the cost of the cruise so there is no way I am going to pay their casino priced cruises and then blow even more in the casino. I can go to vegas for that.

Also look at their premier cruises.

1)The premier price that ended a couple of weeks ago was save up to $500 with $400 in cash.

2)The premier price they started last week is save up to $500 with $200 cash(starting at $383)

3)A premier getaway option they put in this morning is save 25% and get $100 cash(starting at $318) for a bunch of 4 day cruises lol.

I get better offers with RC so I will take my business there. If Carnival gets serious about their casino players which they obviously care nothing about anymore then I will come back. It's that simple.

We had the getaway and the full premier offer and just the fun casino offer. I think we are going to do the getaway and the fun casino offer. I think the lady told us wrong today though, she said we didn't need FTTF because with Premier Check In we'd get the same perks...I don't think she was correct but then again this is the first Premier we've been able to accept. What kinds of other perks do you get that they don't really tell you about? Looking forward to the free drinks! ;p

I wish I got the pack and play offer! I used to get them, and book them, but couldn't last time I got one in September. This time, I got a premier getaway offer (up to 25% off and $100 casino cash). Just not that great of a deal.
