The American Queen in Pittsburgh

Hey everyone!

My friend and I were in Downtown Pittsburgh earlier today for a Cardinals/Pirates baseball game. We had a little time to kill, so we sat by the banks of the Allegheny River where the American Queen was getting ready to depart Pittsburgh. It's not a common sight to see such a large ship on the river. I snapped a couple pictures as they were departing the city and thought I would share them with you. They're not the greatest photos, but oh well.

I found it interesting to watch the smoke stacks fold down so the ship can go under bridges. I also found the music they played on the ship's horns as it was leaving.
