Half Moon Cay jetskis
Anyone ever done Carnival's HMC jet ski excursion?
Is there any freedom allowed or is it basically just a jet ski tour where you follow the leader around the island? Thanks.

We did this excursion in 2010 on the Miracle....loved it! I've also done a jet ski excursion in Labadee in 2003 and it was completely different. The one in HMC the group was about 8-10 jet skis and after the instructors walked through the safety/how-to portion, you followed them out of the cove, and they took us all the way out to a very small island (you never got off the jet ski). Once we reached the small island, we made our way back to the cove. The water was pretty choppy, but it was so much fun! They tell you to follow the pattern of the jet ski in front of you so you don't hit any coral that is just below the surface of the water (so it's all for safety purposes). But I felt like you had a lot more freedom than the excursion I did in Labadee. Hope this was helpful
