24 hour hold

Any idea why the 24 hour hold is not applicable on all sailings? I was trying to place a hold on a Valor cruise for December online but it does not offer it. I tried other sailings and was offered a 24 hour hold option.

I would call. Sometimes the computer can get wonky. Had it happen a couple times myself. Never had a problem putting a room on hold when calling.

I've noticed that too. It seems that sometimes the "24 Hour Hold" is offered, but at others, NOT? I've even brought up exactly the same booking, twice, and had the hold not offered the first time, but try the whole thing again, and VIOLA,,,there is the hold? I agree that the best thing to do is just call Carnival and talk to a live person. ;)

Each time I've had to use the 24 hour hold option, I've done it through my PVP. And, btw, they mean 24 hours, not "by 5 pm the next day." :)
