Beach day: Loreto and La Paz.

Hi everyone! I'd like to hit the beaches in Loreto and La Paz.

Could you please provide some information on the location, how to get there from the pier, and cost? Any chairs to rent, cost? Facilities or food?

Thanks! Gracias!

There is a beach just steps from the marina at Loreto. It is not pristine, but the locals use it. I haven't been there in a few years, so things may have changed regarding vendors and chairs, food, drinks. There were a couple of bars/restaurants in the area when I was there.

The nice beach is on Coronado Island. White sand and usually very clean clear water. The island is uninhabited. If any food, drinks, etc are there, they would be transported there by the local panga operators---which is the same way you would get there and back. It is about three miles from the marina.

We were in La Paz on HAL, and they had a free shuttle to a pretty decent beach. Some bars/restaurants, etc. We enjoyed our day there. The beaches in town are not available for swimming.
