Harrahs/Caesars Total Rewards link to NCL Casino at Seas?

Does having a Harrahs/Caesars Total Rewards Card get you anything on an NCL Cruise or in the Casino at Seas?

Yes, most definitely. Depending on your TR level, you will receive a discounted rate on your cruise when you book through Casinos At Sea.

Here is a link to the CAS page on the NCL website:

http://www2.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/casinos-at-sea/overview

Your TR status will give CAS some idea of what to expect from you, as a player, and may affect the level of their offer to you.

However, there is no direct linkage between your TR points and any points you may earn with your CAS card on the ship. Use your CAS card at ALL times in the casino on your first cruise. As you accumulate CAS points, you will start to receive benefits on that cruise, from a card good for free drinks in the casino, to possible comp'd dinners and spa treatments, and possible credit against your final bill when leaving the ship.

The benefits start after your first cruise using your CAS card. Now when you contact CAS for your next cruise, you will have established a level of play that they can expect, and they will make an offer for the next cruise based on that level of play. Remember, though, that the CAS inventory of cabins is limited on each ship (like "free" airline seats), and the offer will be affected by the popularity of the cruise & ship you are trying to book.

Obviously, the more money you put in play, the more points you earn, and the better your future offers.

On other note: If you regularly deal with a Harrah's marketing rep, try getting them to talk to CAS for you. In our experience you get a better offer this way, as the Harrah's rep probably knows the people at CAS, and they have a mutual marketing agreement. We generally book first through our Harrah's rep, then take that offer and pay the difference for an upgraded cabin if we want to.
