Zuiderdam Pool Cover

I read on another post that this is often kept closed, even when the weather is nice. Do they really do this??? I was looking forward to nice warm sunshine naps broken up by jumping in the pool. Unless it is raining, or excessivley windy or cool, why do they close the dome?

The pool is usually uncovered in the day time and covered at night. No worries. You will be able to cool off in the pool. Sounds wonderful, doesn't it?

They try to keep the pool uncovered as much as possible. Even on sea days the pool uncovered about half way to three quarters.

Sometimes if it is very windy they will close it half way.....but there is plenty of fresh air and plenty of 'tanning ops' .
