Pools on QM2

We are in the planning stages of our second transatlantic crossing. This time we will have another couple with us who will be using the pools. As we did not use them last time, we really didn't pay much attention to them but know there were several. Can someone tell us where they are, how they may differ and who may use them.

Many thanks, Kelly

She has several. On the top 12 deck there is an enclosed all-weather pool which has a retractable glass roof. There is also an outdoor shallow splash pool. Six and 5 decks have pools, and at the very end of five deck is a squirt-gun splash area mainly intended for young children. The

Canyon Ranch Spa has an aquatherapy pool but one needs a day pass or spa treamtment booked in order to use it.

The enclosed pool is the gray area just forward of the funnel.

Hi,

QM2 has the following pools for passengers.

Deck 13 has an outdoor "Splash Pool" (water is very, very shallow)

Deck 12 has a pool under a retractable glass roof (there is a bar here as well)

Deck 8 has the main outdoor pool (again with a nearby bar)

Deck 7 has an indoor Spa Pool (not suitable for "swimming" but a very relaxing place to be)

Deck 6 has a small outdoor circular shallow paddling pool for kids.

Deck 6 has an outdoor pool (right at the stern)

There are hot tubs as well.

Deck 13 (2)

Deck 12 (2)

Deck 11 (1, "Grill" guests only)

Deck 8 (2)

Deck 7 (1, in the Spa)

Hope this helps, there are pictures of almost all of them via the link below.

Oh this information is just what I needed. We will probably have staterooms on deck 8. Is there easy access to the pool on this deck from the rooms? Many thanks. Kelly

Sadly, no.

Because the Todd English Restaurant occupies the rear superstructure on Deck 8 you have to go down to deck 7 using the D stairs and lifts and then, using a flight of stairs next to the Princess Grill Restaurant, go back up to Deck 8.

Alternatively you can use steps up from the Deck 7 promenade to access the Deck 8 Terrace Pool and Bar.

(There is also access to Deck 8 from Decks 12/11 using other sets of steps)

Bon Voyage!
