Default Disney Fantasy Dinning Rotation?

Going on our first Disney Fantasy Cruise- 7 Day Western. Heard from other to request a certain dining rotation. We are a group of 11 (6 adults, 5 girls aged 2-9). Some have suggested the rotation with Animator's Palate 3 times, other's say its better to have formal night at the Royal Court- not sure if we even want that since we have a 2 year old that probably wont sit long. Was also trying to figure out which nights to reserve babysitting for her, so we can enjoy a longer meal.

Help! Advice on dining???

8 Disney cruises and have never once felt the need to request a particular rotation - and have not felt I missed anything . . .

A down side to reading boards like this is overthinking what's supposed to be a relaxing experience.

6 Disney cruises here and also no dining rotation requests. Everyone onboard will have the same dining experience, regardless of rotation. Why stress about it? Just go with the rotation DCL gives you.

As to what night for booking the nursery, just pick one. Once you receive your dining rotation at checkin, if it doesn't coordinate with the night you've booked the nursery, change the nursery reservation.

This year will be my 10th.
Asking about a particular dining rotation is like asking hows the food. Ask 100 people and youll get 100 different answers.Personally I like the shows in AP and would not mind going back to the AERAERA rotation.

As far as where to have your formal, its the same way. Your going to get the same treatment in any of the 3. The only reason I could see saying that youd want formal night in the RP is just to add to the feeling of royalty. Thats about it.
