Transportation from Royal Caribbean ships in Victoria

Recommended Posts

Going on Royal Caribbean Jewel of Seas to Alaska in August. Trying to find out how we get from ship to downtown Victoria. Does anyone know if there is a shuttle and how much it is? Thanks in advance.

Unless you're traveling solo, don't bother with the shuttles - at $10-11 round trip it's as cheap or cheaper to take a cab both ways (~$10 depending exactly where you go downtown) for couples or larger groups and more flexible (shuttles generally go only from pier to one or two drop points at most, cab will take you anywhere).

The walk is not just short and scenic - Victoria actually puts up large signs for pedestrians so it's also very, very difficult to go astray.

Here is a link to the shuttle operated buy the Victoria port. I see the fare has risen to $11 this year or $6 one way. You can also catch a transit bus outside the cruise ship terminal which will cost you $2.50 each way or you can purchase a day pass for $5....fares on transit must be paid in CAD and drivers do not make change.
