Pirates of Nassau Museum

Has anyone been to this and done the tour through the museum? Is it worth the $12 admission fee for the museum? We are thinking of doing this and would like to hear from anyone who has been there. Also how long did it take you to go through the museum and gift shop? I have heard it takes about an hour and wonder if this is correct.

Marginally entertaining - kids were bored --- not worth the price of admission!

My DH age 52, myself 57 and my DD age 24 all went to see this and enjoyed it very much. It was well worth the price and we learned a great deal. If you want to walk thru and not read anything and just look, no it won't be worth much, but if you are interested in history and are willing to read the signs, it can give you a lot of background for Nassau. But like I said if all you want to do is rush thru it isn't much.
