Beach at the Falls?

Hello to all-

I will be on the Carribean Princess in August stopping in Ocho Rios. I am going with several people who want to climb Dunn's River Falls. I however would like to see it but not climb it due to heel and ankle issues. Is there a nice beach at the Falls I can go to while my friends and family climb?

Thanks for the information! :)

Yes....there is a beach area at the bottom of the falls. Seems like there were several picnic tables available. Also, restrooms are there. We took a boat to the falls and were dropped off at the beach, then climbed the falls. I think some tours are dropped off at the top of the falls. To get to the beach, you'd have to walk the trail down to the beach. You could also wait at the top, if walking down the trail would be an issue. At the top are places to buy something to eat/drink/trinkets.

Have fun!!
