Best area for off the beach snorkeling?

I have read Bonaire has great snorkeling in shallow waters. Where would be good spots for entering these areas from a beach.

Bonaire is shore dive (and snorkel) heaven

The west side in particular is just one long dive site! What's better is as you drive the shore road you see rocks painted yellow with a number on them. What you need then is a handy guide book to look up the number and find the details of that location. Thanks! As this is our first time here and not sure about renting a car. I will look up the guide. I am not the best swimmer, but we want to see what we can.

Just walk or take their free shuttle to the Plaza Resort....rocky entry so wear water shoes ...bring your own snorkle gear or rent it on site.
Free shuttle back to the ship..
