new to silver seas

My first time on SS will be on the Spirit Dec. 2017. I am reading mixed reviews about the aging of this ship. Since i won't be on it for another year of wear and tear, am i making a mistake? i picked this cruise because of the itinery. Crystal has one almost the same, but this one is better. I have done crystal before and found it fantastic in every way. Will i be disappointed in choosing a ship that has not been refurbished in what will be 8 years?

Simply put, no, you will not be disappointed.

I have done 2 Silversea (note, one word and not plural) cruises and 2 Crystal cruises. I will be on Silversea next year and Crystal in 2018.

You will love the large suite, the butler and the intimacy of Silversea.

Hal, as background our go to cruise line is Crystal Cruises. With that said we took our second Silversea Cruise in January of this year and first one on Spirit. The ship did not look worn at all.
