Uber pickup at Sydney OPT?

I have searched CC and can't find an answer to this. Has anyone used Uber for a pickup from the Sydney OPT, or know if it is possible/permitted?

If you have used them were they able to collect you directly from the terminal? I'm thinking I may need to walk up to George St and request a car there.

George St is only 50m away so seems the easiest, rather than going through the congestion of the side road.

Any pick-up from the OPT is a nightmare. There is not sufficient space for cars to park and wait for passengers to get through the terminal.

George St would be better.

However taxis from the OPT are well catered for, with a separate exit to the private pick-area which Uber would have to use.

I would suggest walking up to George Street or Hickson Road to get the uber.

GUT2407 - I don't know where else to ask on this board, so I am trying here ... we will arrive in a few weeks on the Solstice at the OPT. Is it possible to walk with 1 large and 3 smaller bags to the Marriott Circular Quay? Or, do we need to call for Uber or taxi?

It's about 600 metres (less than half a mile) and a flat walk all the way.

As JJ said, easy and that's from a half cripple. Flat, some cobblestone type paving a few hundred yards or metres.
