pinecrest6 Posted August 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2014 Would insurance cover us if the volcano causes us to miss our cruise because our flights get cancelled? Flights were part of our package but package was through our travel agent. Flying from USA to Barcelona.

rhuntington3 Posted August 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2014 You'd have to check your policy or call your TA.

dancinman66 Posted August 23, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 23, 2014 Yes as above has said you need to double check fine print on the policy as to delay costs and changes and how they are covered Sent from my iPhone using Forums
dancinman66 Posted August 23, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 23, 2014 You will need to check on your policy the section on delay and plan change costs and what they cover as cause of change Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare Hlitner Posted August 23, 2014 #7 Share Posted August 23, 2014 As others have said, you need to read all the fine print. Be especially alert for the term "force majeure" which if written as part of an "exclusion" could make the policy not valid in the case of a volcano.
