I took a look at the QM2 stuff when it was offered but that's all I did. Everything was in the UK and the shipping costs would make the final cost pretty high on this side of the pond.

Of course BR, I didn't think about that. Even in the UK the shipping costs are quite high, as a lot of items are quite heavy.

I can understand that cabin artworks were updated during drydock redecoration but - Why were the signs and ceiling lights removed from the public rooms?

The ceiling lights are from the Corinthia lounge, which was removed and is now the Winter Garden. Not sure about the signs. I guess they were just refreshed.
