Verizon cell use here

On Anthem stopping in St Maarten. What's the latest on using your Verizon cell here? The Verizon tool says we have talk, text and 2G-4G data. Can I assume I can use my cell freely without worry? To me this is odd since I was not aware Verizon could be used on this island.

It says that it is a Travel Pass country. For $10 per day, you can use your domestic talk, text and data.

Yes, I was there few months ago 10.00 per day on Verizon
