Does AMA waterways let you transfer your booking to a travel agent

If you booked with them directly?

On my ocean cruises I usually book with the cruise line and later transfer to my TA for a discount. Wondering if I can do the same with them or do I need to use a TA from the beginning?

I believe you have to switch before you make your deposit payment.

cruise account number,then switched to a TA after. Had NOT put down deposit.Can always call a TA and have them handle it. I had to fill out a form and FAX it back to AMA.No problem.;)

I can only add: with Viking you can transfer even after deposit paid. Maybe AMA allows that too?
