Best Dessert Ever?

Today's lunch dessert was the best I have ever had on Regent. It was a super dense chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce. It was almost fudge like. The scoop of ice cream put it over the top.

It made me ask, what is your favorite Regent dessert?

Mine is crepe suzette with a scoop of ice cream.

We loved the Banana and Macadamia Nut Pudding cake which was covered in chocolate. Yum! :p

We also love the crepes -- but only ones made by Franck Galzy and served immediately after cooking:-)

I like the 15 year old single malt scotch served in the Observation Lounge with no ice and no water.

The last post made me remember the absolute best dessert........ chocolate martini!

Mine were both on the Paul Gauguin, when Radisson/Regent ran the ship.

Tahitian Vanilla Creme Brulee, which I had as often as possible.

A constructed chocolate dessert called "The Bounty", with sheets of chocolate made to look like a sailing ship.

I am not a big dessert person, but Franck's crepes are quite delicious. And the Tahitian vanilla creme brulee. They have that on the other ships, but it never tasted quite as good as in the French restaurant on PG.

I seem to remember having some photos of the Bounty.

And it was Franck that made the Bananas Foster I believe.

I am not a huge brownie fan, but I have to step back and say that when we were on the Mariner in May, we had a brownie that was given at the end of the meal in Prime Seven that was wonderful. I can only hope we will have it again. Although I have never seen the Bananas Foster that Kathy is speaking of, we will have to start challenging Regent to serve this on more of their ships. I love a good Bananas Foster!
