the final stop of our tour, another brilliant Gaudí masterpiece, Pavellons Güell.

After a wonderful day touring Barcelona with Barcelona Day Tours, it was time to check in to our Hotel. We stayed at the TRYP Apolo hotel recommended by my darling cruise critic friend Merion_Mom (Thank You :D ) Love this hotel. Not directly on La Rambla but close enough to walk. Nice hotel, clean, and inexpensive (at least when I booked it).

We were on the sailing with you. Loved your photo's - it looks like we walked almost in your footsteps everywhere except we did the West Tour on Madeira with Madeira Happy Tours and they were totally amazing. Loved that side of the island.

Now you just gave me another reason to go back. lol

I'll save Madeira Happy Tours in my notes. I read about them as well.

After we all got settled in our hotel. I took a little siesta. We had a late night dinner and Flamenco show at Tablao Flamenco Cordobes, also booked with Barcelona Day Tours. Before the show, I decided to take a little walk on La Rambla on my own.

Really enjoying your review - the photography is spectacular! I like seeing how other cultures do things. I noticed this last place you went for the wine tasting is open from 1pm-5pm then closes for 3 hours, and re-opens from 8pm-midnight. Europeans sure like to eat late, compared to Americans. :D

yes hours are strange for us Americans however this is normal for Spain.
