Both cruise lines are outstanding. Take a look at the itineraries and then make a selection. Enjoy.....

There are some pretty interesting posts you might want to read in "Other Cruises" regarding Cruise West. Look around posts dated the 14th/15th.

Cruise West, the Seattle-based American-owned and--operated small-ship cruise line, just announced that it has acquired the 138-passenger Yorktown Clipper and 102-passenger Nantucket Clipper, previously part of the Clipper Cruise Line fleet (see next story).
Both ships are U.S.-flagged coastal cruise ships joining Cruise West's fleet of American-owned vessels, and will significantly enhance the company's operational reach. The new ships will sail the 2006 itineraries on the East Coast, Great Lakes, Caribbean, Alaska, Mexico, and Central America previously published by Clipper Cruise Line, but under Cruise West ownership and management. Guest programs and amenities will offer the comfortable and modem accommodations of these former Clipper small ships with the distinguished exploration approach that Cruise West has successfully pioneered. For more information contact your travel agent or Cruise West (Cruise Travel Magazine), 2301 Fifth Ave./Suite 401., Seattle, WA 98121; call 888-851-8133; or log on to www.cruisewest.com. ________ sociopath raid data recovery |

Cruise West is the largest small-ship player in Alaska and is expanding its reach. In a growth spurt in 2006, the line acquired Clipper Cruise Line's Yorktown Clipper and Nantucket Clipper With nine ships in the fleet and another two on charter, Cruise West is now able to broaden its horizons. In 2010, the line will have four ships in Alaska for the summer season, but also offer cruises to Costa Rica and Panama, the Sea or Cortes, the Galapagos, Columbia and Snake Rivers, and European rivers, as well as a 335-day circumnavigation of the globe onboard Spirit of Oceanus.
