We are supposed to arrive into Cape Liberty on the Royal Caribbean Explorer at 8 am. I was wondering if a 11:15 am flight out of Newark to get home would be too soon. That is the cheapest flight right now and then next one at that price level is not until almost 5 pm.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. |

If the ship arrives on time, is quickly cleared by CBP officials for disembarkation and you do self disembarkation where you carry your own luggage off the ship as early as possible, and you take a taxi to the airport, and you're on a domestic flight, not an international flight, then you can do it.
If everything doesn't go perfectly...such as the ship arriving late or CBP delaying disembarkation you may very well not make that flight. Personally, the time line is too tight for me. Last edited by njhorseman; February 6th, 2013 at 05:04 PM. |

That is what I thought too because there are too many variables to risk it. Thank you!
