Weather in May

Starting to think about clothing for Maasdam, leaving Montreal on May 12th, arriving in Boston on May 19th, What kind of weather can we anticipate?

Montreal, Quebec, Sydney, Halifax, Charlottetown. Thank you,

Could be in the 30s overnight. Could be in the 80's during the day.

I know this sounds flip, but it's going to be in the mid 60's in Boston tomorrow, and it was 12 degrees yesterday morning, so a range of 50 degrees within a week (not even counting the distance you're traveling) is very possible.

You should plan for layers..... it can be quite cool in the morning but on a sunny day, the sun will warm late morning/afternoon and you might wish to take off a layer.

The chance of wanting shorts on that itinerary is small but you well could want short sleeves.... but bring some long sleeves and a hoodie or sweater along with light jacket in case of rain. We have taken that cruise every summer b-to-b for years and in June, we often have coolish mornings.
