Balcony cabin 14000 on Allure of the Seas - obstructed?

Hi,

We are looking at doing a Western Caribbean cruise onboard Allure of the Seas.

I read that some of the ocean balcony cabins on deck 14 have some sort of obstruction when you look up; however I am wondering if there is any obstruction for cabin 14000 or 14304?

Or would we be better off getting a cabin on deck 12?

Thanks! :D

I would always prefer 12 to 14. 14 is right under the pool deck and thus you will hear much more noise from that area.

Thank you for the replies so far.

How do I know which of the deck 14 balcony cabins are under the overhang?

And would you suggest a cabin on the port or starboard side, for a Western Caribbean cruise? (Cozumel, Roatan etc)

Side of the ship is meaningless, as far as I am concerned.

Thanks for that! Now to decide between deck 12 and 14, and whether the noise from the pool deck will bother us.

Unless having to go up one more flight of stairs to the pool deck is a serious problem, I'd take deck 12 so you lose both the overhang issue and the pool noise issue.

We had NO problem with noise on our Allure cruise. We had a balcony cabin on deck 14, near the bow. I think we had cabin 14 546. We could hear the whirlpool, but we only noticed it when it was off. Then it was a "missing sound", never thought of it when it was running.

Cheers for the feedback, although I think it has made my decision even harder! lol

I have narrowed it down to cabins 14300, 14304, 12554, 12558 or 12156. We are more inclined to choose deck 12 though.

I will see if I can find cabin photos for similar cabins!

Thanks again!
