is pool @ cruise port free to use?

The big pool with all the loungers around it, is it free to use and go into? I mean I guess someone wants you to buy something to drink or eat, but I wanted to know before I get there next week ? TIA:)

As far as I know the use of the pool is free. They'll just hound you to death and run through your estate on mediocre food and drinks.

Absolutely it's free. Although we always explore outside the cruise compound for the day, we always return with enough time to spend in port shopping and getting a little pool time in. We have never had a problem or been hounded by anyone and we have never purchased any of the food or drinks. :)
