I seem to be out of luck using the NCL's web site to reseve show and dinner seatings. Made three schedules with diff. dates & times to no avail. Once i hit the check out option all reserves went unavailable. Is it just me or a glitch with the site?? I read of a desk at the 6th floor that takes care of the reservations. Anyone ?? Thx.

I also had problems with dinner reservations, but I did get to reserve the entertainment I wanted. I went to the reservations page the same day reservations became available (45 days from cruise) and booked my entertainment first. All the times I wanted were available so I got all excited until I tried booking my dining choices. I even selected the earliest times for several different restaurants and every time I got unavailable responses. I decided I will just wait till I get on board and see what can be reserved from there.

I had dining reservations for where I wanted, but rest assured you will be able to get into where you want, probably when you want. There are lots of no-shows, apparently, and plenty of open tables. Try making reservations on the ship, and if that doesn't work, just show up (the earlier the better)

did you ck your e docs and see if it shows up there ? Some people were getting this and when they looked at the e docs all of the res. were there.

I had no trouble with my reservations showing anywhere. I'm just stating that if someone didn't have reservations and went early, there was a good chance they would get a seat.

I would still try to reserve online and then on the ship, just to make sure.

I did mine 45 days out and then again a week or two later. There was a glitch with booking 2 of the specialty rest. at first and then a few days later it became available. I called them directly also to verify my dining and they were extremely helpful.

After reading this post regarding all the glitches with booking dinner reservations I decided to give it another shot. I was finally able to book a specialty restaurant for each night while on board. I figure I will hit all the freebie restaurants during breakfast and lunch and make the dinner something special.

Check this out.

Called NCL's 800 number to verify whats the issue

their Web site & my reservations, got hooked to a call

ctr in the states. This very nice lady tells me that she

could not help me.

The call was transferred to a mexican call ctr, the guy

tried to help me but had to verify with his supervisor.

Guess what ? Neither him nor his supervisor could.

Again , the call was transferred to Miami, to a very pushy

cuban lady who told me i needed to go thru the TA.

Know something ??

The TA was the one who in 1st place told me to use

NCL's web site. :eek::eek:

@ MrLacox:

Ahhhh oh, then I may be SOL because I booked my cruise online. Then called the next day about the $250.00 from previous cruise not showing as down payment and a guy was VERY helpful and got it all straighten out.. finally have it all paid off for my 11-13-10 cruise! Oh, but my point was, hope they don't tell me to call a TA because I DON'T HAVE ONE..

OK..if you are having any kind of problem..dont talk to the person answereing the phone.. most of them make up answers.

As soon as you get someone ask for their manager. i was given so many "lines" when dealing with one of my problems..and was insulted by those who answered the phone that i was angry. i called back and asked for a manger, which be prepared they will be insulted by..but ask for that manager!!!

The love to give the "call your TA" line alot.. then your ta calls and they give them a bunch of "lines". So DO NOT TALK TO THE JOE SHMOE.. THAT ANSWERS THE PHONE.

When i acutally talked to the manager directly i was informed that EVERYTHING i had been told by the people " answering" the phone was false, eronious, wrong..he used many words that all meant the same thing..lol

GOOD LUCK AND BON VOYAGE..ENJOY YOUR TRIP!!!

Not sure about the glitch, but to clarify...the restaurant reservations desk is on the 5th floor. If you are in the casino, take the escalator down, and the desk is at the foot of the 'down' escalator.

Seen from the other side, it's to the left of the entrance to Taste.

I was finally able to have somenone at NCL to

partially sort this out.

After explaining the situation to a Call Ctr rep. she was

able to book the entertainment part only.

Even though I was given the "you should consult your TA" rap

a couple of times, I insisted and pressed my point until

they took care of me.

At the end, the only fact stated by NCL that made sense was that

this reservation system is practically new and still has a

few glitches to sort out.

After my initial trouble making reservations, I was finally able to get everything I wanted. Be sure to print out everything and have it handy. They lost one of our reservations and I had to go back to the cabin for the paperwork. I found that every venue had open seats (except Cirque Dreams-the one they lost our reservation for). All of the shows took people from the non reservation line. If you don't succeed at first you can try again the next night. Same for the pay restaurants. Lots of open seating for hours at a time.
