Corfu in October

This is our first time in Corfu and we'll be there in mid-October. I am planning to book a taxi since we are 5 adults and 2 children....what should this cost? And what are the primary sites to see? We were thinking Theotoky vineyard, Mauroudis for olive tasting, Paleokastritsa and Corfu Town? Do you recommend all of these places and is there anywhere else we should definitely see? Thanks in advance!

Ask your driver to take you up to Lakones(above Palaiokastritsa). There are a few restaurants/cafes up there to soak in the view of the bays down below.

If time allows, a trip over to the ruins of Angelokastro(old fortifications atop a hill overlooking the coast) are pretty neat as well.

You might want to take a taxi to visit some of the more rural places but Corfu Town is best seen on foot, if everyone in your party is able to walk. Sorry, I'm not familiar with cab fares.
