What must you list on a customs form?

Form 6059B says "U. S. Residents: Declare all articles that you have acquired abroad and are bringing in to the United States."

It used to say to only list items if above the exemption but that changed.

Thank you.

I knew for sure I had seen that on a Customs Declaration Form at some point.

Does that mean that now we must list all items purchased even if well below the entitled exemption?

We bought a ring....not hugely expensive, but enough...I wore it off the ship..never thought to claim it....oh well! All they asked was if we had booze...I told them just in my tummy!!!

Yes, you can just summarize it. Clothes x dollars, Jewelry y dollars, etc.

That's what we do. And I have all our receipts in an envelope so if anyone needs to see them they're all in one place. We bring back inexpensive things so we've never even come close to the limit.
