Falmouth Port options

Can anyone expound on what is actually available to do right in the port area of Falmouth? My mom and I will be there in 3 weeks and she is fighting cancer right now and tires easily but wants to shop a little. Is there a lot of walking with a lot to see and do or is it pretty small. She is doing remarkably well and we don't want to necessarily stay on the ship the entire day. Thank you for your help!!!

There are lots of shops right in the port and it is very pretty. If you want to stay inside the port area to do a little shopping you will have lots of options. The walking isn't too bad either. I believe someone posted a few pictures of the port area a few posts down. Hope you have a great cruise and that your mom continues to recover!
