Horseback riding in Grand Cayman

Hi Cruise Lovers!

My daughter wants to take her Mom horseback riding on our upcoming cruise in October on RCL Mariner of the Seas. I'm thinking towards the end of the cruise at Grand Cayman. (Why walk funny the entire trip?) Any suggestions? Please respond with your good and bad advice.

Thanks!

Contact Shoretrips.com. They have a fun horseback ride along the beach at Grand Cayman and excellent tour guides. If you are experienced riders, you will have more fun than on a typical nose-to-tail 'trail ride'.

My daughter is a very experienced rider and had a wonderful time.

If you happen to talk to Marissa Gersonde, tell her Jeff sent you.

Hi,

We went horseback riding in Grand Cayman back in February. We used Honeysuckle Beach Rides and all had a great time! They tailor the ride to your ability. They picked us up in town and shared very interesting information about the island during our rides to and from the beach. I think we were on the horses for 1 to 1.5 hours, but I'm not sure. The beach was peaceful and beautiful, but it was sad to see the devestation caused by the hurricanes. There were saddles on the horses.

We scheduled the 12:00 ride and had time to shop in G.C. both before and after. Sigh - wish we were going again!

HTH,

Joni
