This is our little list.

Of course this does not include the real essentials.

1. Duct tape (I know not everyone has needed it but we have)

2. Money, money & more money.

3. Appetite (can you really pack that?)

4. Over the door shoe thingy (again we find them handy, not for everyone)

5. Comfortable shoes. IE walking, sandals, dress, etc..

Power strip

Large plastic tumbler for iced tea/lemonade

Extra battery for your digital camera

Less clothes than you think you'll need

More money than you think you'll need

A bottle of Baileys

I know that's 6 and you said 5, but I went to school on the Left Coast, so I don't know how to count.

1. Snorkle gear, including noodle, which wraps around very nicely in nylon bag.

2. Small cooler with removable ice-bucket. Throw a washcloth in that cooler for excursions and it's a real lifesaver with ice cold water.

3. Empty water bottles to fill up and take on shore.

4. A couple of Kwik-Kold first-aid instant ice paks for heat relief (put on neck) and emergency first aid.

5. A pre-threaded needle tucked into make-up case. (yes, I've needed it and had to use dental floss to sew a button on).

- Camera

- Mini medical kit (aqua-ban, benadryl, aleve, bonine, neosporin, hydrocortisone creme, visine, band-aids, etc...)

My five things that would be a pain to buy:

8 feet of thin cotton line (some balcony doors)

earplugs

my favorite hair conditioner

extra plastic hangers

ziploc bags

DBFs:

travel humidor

power strip

extension cord

GPS

his favorite hair gel

Our crazy friends travel with a collapsible window squeegee to clean their balcony window/walls. They bought it in the KMart at Charlotte Amalie and never cruise without it now!
