I will be on a Princess British Isles cruise this coming June. I have all my currency needed for in port fun, but when it comes to having fun on the ship in the casino what do I need to have? US dollars? I've read that you can have the gambling charged to your room, but I don't really want to do that. I allot myself a certain dollar amount when gambling, in cash, and don't want to exceed that. If I charge to the room, I KNOW I'll exceed the allotment.

So, I guess the general questions the casinos take cash and what currency is accepted?

Apologies if this been asked elsewhere, but there is so much into to weed through!

Yes...they take cash and US Dollars is what they accept. Bring what you plan to lose...and when it's gone, it's gone! Stop gambling! Losing is the most likely outcome, but if you treat it as "entertainment", and know how much you are willing to's fun!

Thanks for the info. Yes, I only gamble what I plan on gambling and I allot myself a $ amount each day. When I'm done, I'm done. I typically walk away with something though, but I'm not heartbroken if I don't.
