I was wondering if i have enough time to catch my flight.

Cruise ends on November 8th. normally it says 7am or so people to be off etc

my flight leaves to get home at 11:55am .

cruise port is in Miami with Norwegian.

Airport is in Miami as well, would i have enough time to make my flight?

Yes, you will have time. About midway thru the cruise they will ask all with "early" flights to tell them, so tell them you have an early flight. They will put you in one of the 1st groups off the ship. After you get your bags and clear customs, grab a taxi...they will be lined up! It's a 20 min ride to the airport.

Barring the unforeseen you should have enough time, but who can predict the future?

So are you guaranteeing that they will make it?

Well, there are no guarantees, not even for an evening flight. It's all a risk.

In this instance, the risk is extremely low. The odds are strongly in their favor, and it is safe to book a 11:55am flight. MIA airport isn't too far from the port, and if they can self-disembark or arrange to be in one of the first groups to disembark, they will get to the airport with a lot of time to spare for that flight.

  • 3 weeks later...

Flights. and cruise- my cruise ends at 8am

So what would be the earliest i could get off the ship

or least be on solid ground by/

What would be the earliest possible flight one could book if cruise ends at 8am

in miami and airport is MIA

would 11am flight be cutting too close? even if everything moves smoothly? thanks

I would stick with that 11:55 AM flight.

11:00 AM carries risk particularly if the ship is delayed or there is a delay with customs and immigration. Miami has had problems from time to time.

I would also want to be at the airport by 9:00 AM due to long lines.

Again, while 11:00 AM is possible when everything goes well, sometimes things go wrong.
