Hey, Stephanie we just booked today! I really didnt think I would find a thread already but glad to see there was one. We are Mike and Dawn from Hanover PA. This will be our third time on the explorer. I love the voyager class. We will be traveling with our DD,SIL and our too cute granddaughters. We are working on getting another daughter to come so we will see.

Well we just changed our cruise from this one to the 10 day a week later and saved some money. We also like the ports better. Have a great cruise and bring her back in good shape for us!

Welcome Everyone! I'm really excited to see that there are people already booking. It would have been a lonely one if we were the only two aboard!
I'm from Salem, New Hampshire and my fiance is currently living in New Jersey. I've been on Explorer once before and it has been my favorite ship thus far. AC (fiance) has only been on Serenade for RC. So we'll see what he thinks

This will be my 10th cruise, all others were on another line. EOS is a beautiful ship from what I've read and seen in port. Really looking forward to meeting everyone and enjoying the venues of the ship!

Hey lil miss goofy, sure wish we could speed things up. I am anxious to "get out there". I've been watching cruise videos instead of reg. tv, it's the next best thing to being there. I sit by the phone hoping for a call from one of my newbies with questions, they don't have a lot of questions like I did first time out. I guess that may come later. I need a cruise NOW!!! Dream about cruisisng everynight, never tire of talking about them. My friends call me Cruisealene!!

Default Hi everyone!

I just booked this morning, changing from the Enchantment 10/20/2011 to the Explorer on 10/27. The air to Baltimore was inconvenient.

I'm a retired teacher in NJ. Happy to be aboard!

Linda

Hi Everyone!
My wife and I just booked this cruise, glad to see there are other folks like us that are already excited!
We just got back on 9/4 from rockin' with Hurricane Earl on the Enchantment of the Seas, it was rocky but we still had a great cruise! I actually thought the Captain did a great job of side-stepping Danielle and Earl!

We're really looking forward to seeing the Explorer she looks beautiful in the pics we've seen, we got really lucky and were able to snag a center hump cabin (I read a lot about them) anyone here ever been in one?

Hi--

Glad you made it through the hurricanes in one piece and had a good time.

I was in a center hump several times-- it's a very convenient location, easy to get everywhere, with nice views off the balcony. But I converted to AFT cabins several years ago, and now that's all I ever take.

I've never done the Explorer but it does look beautiful!

Glad to know there are others excited as I am. Though it's a long way away, together we can make the time seem to go quicker. Lookforward to meeting you all on board.

Hello all,

I am the FH of Lil Miss Goofy if you couldn't tell .
I am very excited to be going back on a Royal Caribbean ship, I thought Serenade was great but I hear Explorer is even better. Unfortunately there is a long way to go until we get there. Anyway, I just want to introduce myself and say hello to whoever is keeping up with this thread!

we booked this cruise, oct. 27, 2011, months ago as we go out of bayonne a lot. we live down the jersey shore and drive to bayonne in about one hour. we just down to florida for a back to back cruise on the great oasis of the seas. there is no other ship like it. that was our 30th cruise on rccl and we have 10 others. we only use rccl now. we have 10 in our group. we sign up for the meet and mingle and hope you all do also.
we are kit and carl from lakewood mew jersey.

Been off line a while but back and ready to go! Just heard from TA I've got a "hump" cabin. Never had one before I too am wondering what it's like, any info out there? Less than a year before we set sail, looking forward to getting back out on the seas again. Have read lots of reviews about this ship won't be discouraged by negative reports !! Hey, Miss Goofy, what's up?

We booked this cruise while we were on board last week! We're set to be in 9690 - corner balcony, aft.

We booked it as a late celebration of our 20th anniversary which will be 9/14/11.

I'm excited to see I've got some shipmates! We had a great time on our last trip and our heads are still rocking & rolling.

Amy (& hubby, Jay)

We were on the EOS Halloween Cruise to Haiti last week also, was a real lively crowd on the boards. Over 200 pages of posts. What a fun cruise. I think we may book it again. is that the same one you were on mamapan?
