In addition to the space and points: bathtub, robes, coffee and tea kettle in the stateroom, silver SeaPass card.

From what I have been told if you paid for a D-1 and were upgraded to a Jr Suite you do not get the double points. In the past you did get double pts but not any longer.

That's true, but I interpreted the OP's statement ("I have just upgraded ...") to mean that they paid for the upgrade. Maybe I misread it.

First cruise D1. Second JS and now OS.... You get spoiled. But we agree the larger the room the more we enjoyed the cruise. To some folks they could care less about size. We just happen to like them big. On the other hand, we enjoy cruising ships no larger than the Voyager class. Seems like the larger ships have a larger assortment of cultures. Some seem to be, to put it lightly, a bit more agressive....

In addition to the much larger cabin, the bathroom is also larger to accomodate the bathtub/shower. Of course your balcony is also larger.

The space is the thing....the only other "perks" are priority boarding (where there is a "suite" check-in line". A JS is a great way to cruise!

we just got off Explorer and had a JS. The big perks for me was more room and the priority boarding was sweet. My wife enjoyed the walk in closet. I dont think I could go back to a regular room after this.

Enjoy!
