Question Newbie questions ...

I'm taking a 4 night trip to the Bahamas in August, sailing on the Enchantment of the Seas with my 20 year old daughter ... and I have several questions:

In the casino, can I use cash for the slots, or must I 'swipe' my sign & sail card to play? The casinos here in Indy don't take cash.

When a waiter asks for my sign & sail card upon bringing me a drink, will he issue me a receipt so I can keep track of all my purchases?

How's the water pressure in the cabin showers? Strong?

Should I lock my luggage before boarding?

These boards have already provided me with tons of tips and tricks but I find myself thinking about my impending cruise daily ... thus I always seem to have more questions.

Yes! You can use cash in the casino on the slots and table games.

The waiters will definitely provide you with a receipt after you've signed for your drinks.

The water pressure has been very good on all the ships I've been on.

I usually lock my luggage before boarding/handing it to a porter as a peace of mind for myself.

Happy cruising!

Agree with everything above except I never lock my luggage. Figure if anyone wants to break into it they will and likely damage it as well. Of course, anything of any value is in my carry-on. DH is from NY and always either locks or uses a twist tie on his.

We also lock our luggage. I'm not going to make it easy for the thieves.

Lock your luggage. If you don't have TSA locks, just use cable ties. Have a great cruise!

This is interesting as I would think that locking was not a good idea incase they wish to search luggage?this was what I was advised on my first cruise.there's nothing of value in there so, I would rather not be called down to unlock my case if there's a problem.there has been incidents where an innocent item was mistaken on x ray.just my view.x

I would not have a problem with being called to unlock my luggage.
No big deal.
