Are you doing a land tour or have a car or are is this a port of call on a cruise? If so, in which place will you be stopping or both? The reason I ask is that Quepos and Golfito are about 200km apart.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, we'll be on a cruise. I think I'm set for Quepos, but I'm trying to find a tour company that will pick us up and do a boat tour of the bay and go over to the Osa Peninsula for the Sanctuary and/or the national park.

Are you trying to do both in one day? If so, that will be very difficult, considering the distance they are from each other and the time you would need to visit Manuel Antonio. I lived in Costa Rica for almost six years, between Golfito and Manuel Antonio, but I never went to Piedras Blancas. If the times would work, you could catch a flight from Golfito to Quepos and then catch a cab to Manuel Antonio. They have guides once you're inside Manuel Antonio. You can hook up with a group or pay for a personal guide.
