For the first time I'm really looking at cruises on NCL. I've been looking at the California Coastal cruises. I'm down to two of them, one is on the Pearl and the other is on the Jewel. Which ship would you choose and why. What do you love about NCL or dislike about NCL? Oh, and I'm thinking about maybe going solo. Do you think I would be bored or feel out of place on NCL? Thanks so much for any help or suggestions you can give me. Take care!

Not much difference between the Pearl and Jewel as they are "sister" ships. Both great. The Pearl has a rock climbing wall, and I beleive a bowling ally. (DH and I didn't use either:))

As for going solo, I've never done this, however if you are comfortable going solo, I'm sure you'll be fine. There are plenty of activities and I'm sure other solo passengers you could befriend. When you pick the cruise, check out the roll call here on CC.
