Just letting people know I called the Venetian and was told they are now back with Carnival again and no longer with Princess. However, she did not really know how it worked and told me to contact carnival and perhaps the Venetian's promotion department on monday. I will let you know what happens when I hear back.

I got the latest cruise offer from Grazie (while I was away on my Princess cruise from the last offer  ) and was very disappointed to see that it is for Carnival. We absolutely loved our Princess cruise but can't be bothered with Carnival anymore.

Ok I finally got some info and it seems Carnival is getting the short end of the stick. If you play at the Venetian you could receive free cruises through Carnival. However, if you play in the casino at Carnival the Venetian offers nothing. I am slightly confused how this works out for Carnival who I guess is just trying to pick up more casino players while the Venetian gives nothing away.

I misunderstood your original question but I get it now :) As far as I know, the only reciprocal arrangement is with MLife and Royal Caribbean (and I don't know the specifics as I don't play much with either). I have cruised NCL, HAL, Celebrity & Princess on casino offers in the last couple of years and it sure would be nice if you could get some sort of credit at land based casinos for what you play at sea. Maybe someday....

I, too, am disappointed by Sands Corp switch from Princess to Carnival for the free cruise promotion as I already get free Carnival premier offers. I am a long-time "medium roller" customer of the Venetian and always stay for free so the Princess offer was icing on the cake for me.
