Oceana - Laundry Services

Hi all sailing on the Oceana soon, our third cruise but we have never used a ships laundry before and wonder what to expect. Are the machines similar to domestic front loading ? What experiences do members have with detergents, powder, liquid, tablets etc, if a particular brand is recommended would be interested to hear of your experiences.

The machines are either top loading or front loading (they were front loading in the laundry we used on Oceana on B deck) and there will be instructions on the wall (or just ask someone else in there if you're not sure) .....I either take tablets (with fabric conditioner included) or if on a long cruise a small bottle of (Tesco) liquid with fabric conditioner included.
